The Silicon Valley SIM Center is creating a “Mission Control for Planet Earth” by integrating the information technology and innovation capabilities of Silicon Valley and directing them to invent new solutions to systemic challenges with wide-ranging effect. Our global network of expertise will help our clients solve seemingly intractable, complex problems, like climate change and other United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

Our team brings together individuals and institutions with deep expertise in sustainability, machine learning, data visualization, decision modeling and collaborative intelligence, leadership in operational excellence, as well as strong networks with decision makers in all sectors.

The Global Energy Network Institute (GENI) is our founding fiscal sponsor. We collaborate through GENI’s Board of Directors, our Advisory Board, Executive, Core and Extended Teams.
We are reaching out to many more partners from the corporate, public and civic sectors as sponsors, co-inventors and clients of our services.

Our initial project is in partnership with the City of Palo Alto, focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and congestion from traffic. Through our innovative organizational structure, we involve technology companies such as Quantellia and Fuji Xerox Palo Alto Labs, as well as agencies such as SETI and NASA.
